Button Badges – Highly Effective Corporate Gifts

February 8th, 2010 Jennifer Lang No comments

Button badges & clothing are examples of excellent promotional or corporate gifts. This is because they are seen by many more people than just those you give them to. This makes them perfect corporate gifts to be given out during sporting events, at the beach, at large company functions, or any other location where a lot of people will gather.

Company sponsored events go hand in hand with corporate gifts such as button badges. If a big community event is being planned by your company or business, such as a company picnic, you should know there should be enough button badges and promotional clothing to be distributed. People who attend these events come to expect that they will be given promotional products such as button badges as part of the package. They usually end up thinking negatively of your business if they aren’t given such items.

Button badges and name tags play an essential role. They not only get attention to your logo; people at the event are easily identifiable as well. If you create a button badge or name tag, put your logo on it. This not only gives you an opportunity to advertise your brand; it also makes everybody feel that they are part of the same event.

You should always think of the several different options you have for corporate gifts whenever you are planning or hosting any large event or function. At first, giving these gifts away may seem to hurt your advertising or marketing budget, but it is very worth it. It will make every person at the function appreciate your business & think positively of your brand.

The purpose of these corporate gifts is to improve & promote the image of the company. Nobody can say no to anything free, but often your company’s logo will be overlooked unless other efforts are done to make the recipients aware of your company or brand. When consumers are heavily targeted with a combination of corporate gifts & advertising, they will surely remember your brand name whenever they need your product.

Using Pens As Corporate Gifts

February 1st, 2010 Abigail Soto No comments

Pens are small, fairly inexpensive but in respect to using them for gifts they do not get disposed of till they have been fully used, giving them a life of one to two months depending on usage. Because of this versatility they are a perfect gift.

Pen manufacturers would agree that the most popular ink colour these days is black ballpoint. For advertising exposure purposes, the black ballpoint pen cannot easily be beaten for dollar for dollar advertising & market exposure value. They keep you front of mind with your clients every day when you add your branding or unique company features the pen.

Amongst sales people & office workers, black ballpens are the most preferred. Blue is next in line in popularity. Odd & interesting colours such as orange or pink can also be used, but are of little usableness. They’re best for children’s wear businesses or party-hire companies. After all you are giving a very practical gift so it may be better to stick with blue of black ink.

Imagination is your only limit when it comes to the exterior body of a pen. And as long as the pen is still usable practically as a pen, then you would still achieve your exposure goals.

On the pen’s body, you should first focus on company information you want to put, before considering the design of the body next. If you do not do this, you may end up with a wonderful physical design but has zero space for the info you want to add. This would completely defeat your advertising purpose.

When it comes to the body of the pen do not go too cheap because a quality feeling pen will be used more by people. Don’t use cheap pen interiors either. A lot of us has thrown away a pen in frustration because a pen does not work when we tried using it. This experience can then leave the person reflecting the quality of the pen on your company which is not good or what you intended.

Good corporate gift suppliers should be able to not only purchase the pens you want in the bulks you need, but also be able to consult you on some of the pen body design and quality aspects that we have covered.

Things To Remember When Creating A Banner

January 14th, 2010 John Kim No comments

Advertising has a fundamental role to play in the endorsement of a business’ products or services. It not only ensures brand visibility but also affects the consumer’s mindset.

The use of banner printing as an advertising medium to lure consumers is quite prevalent around the globe. It is a very old and trusted method, which any marketing executive would always count on. The role of design in making a banner a success with prospective customers should in no way be overlooked, and good printing is a vital element in ensuring that the intended design does see the light of day.

In order to make the banner appealing and engaging for the public, much care and accuracy should go into banner printing. Any extremities in the dimensions of the banner should invariably be avoided, as it would pose difficulties at a later stage. The font size of the text has to be carefully selected and a reasonable number of words should be printed on the banner. The use of only a handful of words (less than 10) in heavy fonts is a prevalent practice.

Any printing organization worth its salt should know the correct colour palette which would suit a client’s banner. The background should not overshadow the colour of the letters, as that might make the message pale and illegible. To make the message more appealing, simple adjectives must be used. It is also crucial that the pictures in the banner back up the message and not be the only subject of viewers’ attention, as that would be equivalent to wasting marketing real estate. They should instead support the overall subject of the banner.

Focusing on these important aspects will greatly help in coming up with an appropriate banner, which would make your advertising campaign a success. It is a solid marketing strategy that can help you generate more sales, more sales leads, and more sales referrals for your business.

How Corporate Gifts Can Still Be A Wise Investment In A Bad Economy

December 24th, 2009 Alvin Jones No comments

Clients-company associations play a major role in deciding the progress of any company. A company can easily withstand the bad economic times if it has been successful in satisfying and maintaining good relationship with the clients. Corporate gifts almost always succeed in their task of keeping the customers happy and satisfied. They are a cheap way of keeping your client happy, and hence they are appropriate for bad economic times also.

The receiver of the gift should be duly considered when selecting a corporate gift, as his or her appreciating the gift is the single most important objective of the whole exercise. The gift may be attached to a promotional initiative, while launching a new product, or simply distributed at regular intervals to keep the client in a good spirit.

The gifts could range from coffee mugs, stationery to even a bottle of exquisite wine. A clever way to generate customers’ recall about the company is to emboss a logo on the gift item.

Think about a gift that gives when you are thinking about corporate gifts. More and more people are switching to different ways of thinking and want others to benefit. Buy1GIVE1, KIVA and Change The Present are organisations that can offer gift value to your clients and staff. Check Buy1GIVE1 out at www.b1g1.com.

The gifts must be of exceptional quality or else the strategy will backfire. A corporate gift is a symbol of gratitude, and a sub-standard gift that dissatisfies the customer will undoubtedly induce mistrust regarding the company. In times like these when organizations are facing economic issues and are looking out for cost effective solutions, it is better to avoid making a poor impression on your customers.

Keeping the present economic scenario in mind, corporate gifts have proved themselves to be a reliable marketing tool. Even though they can act as a double edged sword if used inappropriately, but by exercising a little caution, they can work wonders for a business in times of recession.
