7 Tips to Improve Your Chances in Oz Lotto
To improve your odds when playing Oz Lotto, or any other 7-ball lottery worldwide, there are certain fundamental rules you must follow.
1. PLAY WITHIN YOUR MEANS. Try to play as many numbers as possible. In Oz Lotto (45 numbers) seven individual games of 7 numbers enables you to play all 45 numbers, plus 4 a second time.
2. ODDS & EVENS Keep a 50/50 balance. Have at least 3-odd and 3-even numbers.
Similarly, the smart play is to keep a 50/50 balance between high and low numbers, ensuring a minimum of at least 3-high and 3-low numbers. Using the 10-number system in my book, at least 4-high and 4-low numbers should be in each set of ten ” preferably 5-high and 5-low.
Two consecutive numbers come out quite regulary, three consecutive numbers very occassionally, and four consecutive numbers is a once-a-year event. Limit your consecutive numbers, no more than three consecutive numbers in the 10-number system, no more than two consecutive numbers in the 9-number system or in a straight 7-number game.
More than two numbers from the previous weeks winning numbers coming out this week is unusual. If you are playing multiple sets of 10 numbers (or 9 numbers), spread last weeks winning numbers out over the different sets.
Please note that a set of winning numbers like 1-11-21-31-41-42-43 (ie, 5 numbers ending in “1″) is very unusual. Try to keep the numbers spread, as in 1-12-15-16-27-32-40 ” two ‘end numbers’ the same is fine, but no more than 3 in a set of 10, no more than 2 in a set of 9/8/7.
Do not “cluster” your numbers. Try to keep 2-4 numbers in the range 1-15, 2-4 numbers in the range 16-30, and 2-4 numbers in the range 31-45 for the 45-ball Oz Lotto. The most common result over time has 7 winning numbers that include 2-3 numbers in the range 1-15, 2-3 numbers in the range 16-30, and 2-3 numbers in the range 31-45 for the 45-ball Oz Lotto.
