Prospective Fix for Slow Computer Startup
When people notice a slow computer startup time the first thought is usually a virus or adware. They start to think about what websites they’ve been to, what emails they opened as such.
That isn’t usually the case more times then not it’s something that can be fixed with a simple scan and repair program that we’ll explain in this article, but first let’s cover a couple of the reasons why your computer is so slow to startup.
Older machine needs a cleanup
Over time our machines collect an enormous amount of data from software, hardware, users etc. It all compounds and at some point starts to have an impact on your computers performance. This isn’t to say that you can’t clean some of this old data out, but you will either need to know what you’re doing, bring your PC to a repair shop, or get your hands on the right software to do it for you.
To many programs have been installed or removed
The Internet has made millions of programs available for download. How ever a lot of those programs aren’t so great. We end up downloading them only to remove them a few minutes later. The down side to this is often some of these programs don’t totally remove themselves. Small fragments get left behind that can build up in your in your registry files and slow things down.
To Many programs in your Startup Routine
In the event that windows starts up there is a list of particular programs that are operates right away. Some might be a virus scanner, an instant messenger application etc.
These will take a lot of time to get going when your computer boots up and a few programs might creep into this list when you install them without you even noticing it. With the right program you can change this list and easily delete the programs you don’t want to start up.
